This is a Serious Train found in SS2 Vehicle Assets, did it appear in the final game? I don't recall seeing anything like this.

Back in the day, I thought it was strange that he Hellchick's textures were stored in a folder called "FemaleSoldier" because there's nothing soldier-like about them. However, the FemaleSoldier texture set has two very interesting textures in them.

http://i.imgur.com/b6AJDSh.png
http://i.imgur.com/tKeTiNt.png

If they look familiar, it's because they look very similar to the Yolanda player model. I'm thinking that Yolanda was originally the Female Soldier enemy, but was changed in favor of the Hellchick. They still had the model, so they used it for a player model. This explains the Yolanda-looking woman that pilots the Levitator; that specials was originally supposed to be part of Mental's army.

Also, the latter texture is called "SoldierFat" and does have different proportions from the first one.

In the Kronor folder inside NPC Assets, there's texture called Female. Could this be a female soldier too?

Ok, is there any .aaf importers? Particularly for Blender.

Maybe Kristo's plugins for blender work for what you want, that, you require using Blender 2.61 for the plugin tho.

Isn't that blue girlien thing the same one that rides those flying blue aircrafts in SS2 (they notably appear at the swamp level)?
@Squadala: Quite unfitting outfit for somebody in Kronor, if logic's any indicator that is.

Final new pack!

Serious Sam HD Player models

Contains: SSHD player models, skeletons, animations

Missing: The Serious 8 DLC characters, for obvious reasons.

Notable assets: The Ugh-zan player model is provided however! (Don't remake it in SSHD though to bypass the DLC, it will be removed immediately.)

Eh, they still look better than the ugly final ones if worked on more. Here at least they actually looked alien (and it looks like a cartoonified version of the Sirians you see in XBOX and SS3).

Also, what Squadala meant was that the blue femalien was originally the FemaleSoldier, then became Yolanda the player model, but then also used for the chicks inside the Levitators.

By the way, can you show the human NETRICSA model from the NPC Assets too? I don't know how to use SED2+.

Actually, several cut enemies became player models, like the Biker and the Thief (thief assets weren't included because they are the same as the player model).

Why they didn't take a mugshot of this and color it blue for use in the final SS2 instead of making a Cortana clone is something that I will never understand.

I'd say that the first version looks a lil' bit like a porn actress Can't say this is bad though.
However, I also like the final cortanish version better. She looks much younger, girlish, perfectly fits Netricsa's character.
I wonder if Croteam keep this second model somewhere. There must be the source of this icon.

I'd love to see the full model too, even if its just an upper body.

For Lightwave Object files, Blender has an lwo importer build in; It's just disabled by default. You have to enable it in User Preferences. Though, do note that older versions of Blender will not import the UV map correctly. From the versions I've tried, Blender V2.69 will import it correctly, while V2.63 will not.

Also, if you're looking to use Kristo's amf exporter, here's a fix I made to make it work in newer versions of Blender:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/099ppx.../export_amf.py

It only fixes the amf exporter; the amf importer and skeleton importer/exporter are still busted. If you want the skeleton from an lwo file, save what you've imported as a Blender file, open it up in an older version of Blender (I use V2.59 for this), and then export the skeleton.

I'm not sure about Lightwave Scene (lws) files, though, since I haven't messed with those yet.

lwo isnt the problem, its lws. We could'nt find ANYTHING that can convert lws to fbx.

Create a special question thread for that, you have more chance to find an answer by doing this than asking in a showcase thread, lol

That was never specified. I figured lwo was still a problem since I had to go out of my way to import the Simba Doll's lwo (since no amf was provided in that specific instance).

Anyways, best I can think of for lws is if someone we know has access to Lightwave (V10 and above) itself, since apparently that can export to fbx. Only problem with that plan is that, uh... Lightwave has a pretty steep price, so I doubt many people would have it.

Hmmm, it might be one of those case-by-case problems. Admittedly, I've only done it all of once with the Simba Doll. V2.63 had the entirety of the texture mapped to each and every individual polygon, while V2.69 worked flawlessly. If there's an amf availible for what you're trying to import, you should use that instead (just use "Import mesh" in the Mesh editor).

There is, but it doesn't have first person arms for some reason. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, idk
