That's weird. I thought the chicken area would lag much more than the Forest of Thoughts. For me the forest runs extremely smoothly (it's one of the smoothest parts of the map). Then again, it might be because of my videocard again

I'll try lowering the amount of enemies spawned in groups. I hope it doesn't get too easy and boring though.

Edit- Oh yeah, one suggestion: Now that I'm about to create a new area once again, do you think I should split the map in two parts? Just to make it run smoother? I assume it'd be easier to increase the gameplay time too that way.

(it cause slowly game progress... In fact , I take 2 hours to finished....
maybe take 200+ times to Save/Load game... -_-")

I'm afraid that I can't do anything to Insamnity 2- related problems, that's DwK's job I already suggested him to remove the spawn limits, and I hope he's going to do something to this issue. Until then, we can just wait till he fixes it...if he fixes it.

Maybe you should try playing on normal difficulty then? It's much easier and perhaps more enjoyable.

but I want more challenge and more enemies kills...
(I like HIGH - SCORE... )
So I will try Serious mode if I can...

Maybe I should try Normal/Hard some times and try Serious mode when I already proficient. Or wait Dwk fix that suck spawn limitation...and try the 20X enemies killing

When I played Serious Mind Alpha third time with normal SS2's Normal mode. I found a "Serious" bug on chicken pen area... this bug let me failed to finish this play...
(In fact, I just lazy for suicide and try kill those suck chickens again... )

If you're accidental be move out that arena
(I don't know why, but it happened...)
and killed all enemies...
you will TOTALLY stuck on here...
Even I wait some minute, but nothing happened...

I can killed myself to restart game to try again
but I don't / I'm lazy want to do... )
If player got the bug and run-out all of ammo and saved the fxxk game...

Add a teleport outside the chicken pen just like the ones used for outside locked arenas used for coop games

Nice find, I'll try to take care of that bug. Weird that you didn't get teleported even after you had defeated all the enemies, the macro should ALWAYS teleport you after you have killed all the chickens.

You mean a portal entity? If I drop a portal from the explorer, it's just stuck 5 feet below the ground, even if I'd move it out of there manually. How do I get it to appear? And do I need detectors/teleports/teleport pads for that, just like with normal teleports?

Oh, and good news for everyone- DwK is trying to fix the spawn multiplier issue

That entity is only useable in coop.

Neither one you have mention. Instead, you need a chapter info. Be sure to have the "coop portal marker" checked for the chapter info.

Of course. I almost always do the main gameplay stuff myself, the CT models are just heavily used for decoration (big amount being props this time, I might add some puzzles there).

The screenshots may look a bit unclear though. In reality you're inside a big, big chamber filled with acid, with some weird floating rocks in the middle. I'm still thinking what to do with it. Oh and that room is currently just floating in the air until I add some pillars and stuff to support it

The texture looks too tiled. Size it up at least four times and put some detail texture above it.

Looks good. Needs shadowmaps and the texturing needs to be streatched. It's too repeatative.

But I have the stretch values set to 20 and 15 already (15 for walls/20 for the floor and ceiling). Why does it repeat itself so badly? If I lower the values, the quality starts to suffer, and the higher I set the values, the more repeative it gets.

Or should I just lower the value, and then use a detail texture to cover the ugliness?

uhmmm cant you lower the amount of repeated textures... cant you stretch them... because in the walls... there is a lot of repeating... that isn't very nice... but overall it looks awesome!

Okayy, since Concerned is now officially dead (R.I.P ), I thought "Wouldn't this idea work with SS2?"...and so I began creating a comic for SS2. It's not a rip-off copy of Concerned, but it follows a same basic idea- it's a parody of the main game with a similiar character, who is, however, a completely different person.

The main character is Tedious Sam (Sam's older brother who he likes to refer as "Mental Mate"). Tedious Sam was sent after Sam by the timelock scientists two hours after Sam had left the Sirian Council. Apparently there was no Mental in this game, and Sam had been fooled to go save all the planets. The timelock scientists noticed this and since there were no other volunteers to go after Sam, they sent Tedious Sam to catch up with him before it was too late. Unfortunately, Sam was already making his way through the rivers of Mdigbo as Tedious Sam teleported on the planet's surface.

Ah, I think I'll just scrap the schedule then. It's much more fun doing comics whenever you get a good idea. I might post an another comic later today.

But the words in comic is a little difficult to read... it's a little small!

Yeah the font got resized too when I resized the images. I'll try to use a larger font for the next comic.
