Default Freeze when trying to save

Hi, I've just cleared out the airfield on the sirius level and the game freezes on me when it tries to save before loading the cut scene. Can anyone help?

no. but im getting that problem too now.
playing the long elves level before the main castle... cant quicksave as it freezes, and when i finally got to the end it tried to save and it froze again.

marvelous.. just marvelous.

im beginning to thing SS2 is seriously buggy.
first the mouse controls, then mouselook bug, then it crashed to the desktop when starting the chinese fairground level and now this!
