Wink Your own life in a game?

Yep, there is a game that just came out for the Gamecube, its called Animal Crossing , the game is a Real Time Based game, where you live your own life like you would in real life, you can do a lot of things in the game, get your own house, furnish anyway you want, help around your town, and do a lot more! The game is really addicting, I havn't quite found any pictures yet, but I'll post them when I can, the game has a 8.5 in the reviews. And in the catagory of 8.0 - 10 means its worth the $$$ (Only 49.95 at Wal-Mart). If you decide to rent it, make sure you have a memory card that holds more then 59 blocks becuase it takes up 57!!!! But if you buy it, it comes with it's own Memory card (And if you use it you'll recive a special gift). And an addition to this you can play the original NES on the game! Yep, all of the classics like Donkey Kong and DK Jr. ect. (Super Mario Bros is in it but its a "Promotional" Game so you would have to like attend the E3 which is over....and so is THE LEGEND OF ZELDA! Im not joking you can get it, buts like SMB). If you can find pics please post!

I dare-say a game where you can live like you do in real life is kinda the proof of the valid argument AGAINST games
if you want to live go LIVE

Personally, I play games as a way to get away from reality. I don't want a game based on my life.

Same here, I play for escapism, not realism, but I would probably get hooked on that anyway.

The Sims were cool. The kids liked to create a naked family and just put everything out in the grass (no walls or roof) and thow parties.

Damn that game, it sucked me in and hasn't let me go. I thought i'd hate it, but after I rented it, i almost refused to give it back till i had enouph to buy it (thank god for blockbuster's 5 day rentals). If you have a cube, get this game (and Star Fox: Adventures) you won't be sorry.

I thought Animal Crossing was only getting released in Japan.... they must have changed there mind, the game sounds boring yet addictive enough to stick at it and make your friends think your completely nuts.

The sims is way worse though. You can at least play old nintendo games in Animal Crossing.
