Default Steam Summer Sale 2017 = June 22

So, it seems Papal leaked the steam summer sale.
Its going to (possibly) start in 2 days.
Also, if you use Paypal, you get a $5 discount? I dont know how that is going to work, but here is the info from Shacknews:
http://www.shacknews.com/article/100...uted-by-paypal

So, what are you going to get?
What is a must have game if it goes on sale?

Mine are:
Lawbreakers (which I will get anyway, even if no sale, since its only $30).
Dead Rising 4 (IF it gets a good sale)

Serious Sam was 90% off today, so I bought Serious Sam 2 to complete the collection. That's it.

Lately I've switched from the iDeal Dutch payment method to PayPal due to simplicity (it requires two-step verification with your bank pass and scanner for every payment) and due to PayPal's customer protection policy. I've saved the offer, but I'm not sure how it will translate to euros and if I'll even spend the required amount of money.

Since my computer upgrade is complete and I can play newer games I've had my eye on some I couldn't play before: Prey, Nier: Automata, Tyranny, Shadow Warrior 2, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Dishonored 2. Also I'll have to like the price.

I've never used iDeal on Steam, always Paypal. (Because they introduced iDeal after I've been using Paypal for a long time already)

Literally the only downside to using Paypal over iDeal is that it's not directly taken from your bank account, but rather a few days later.

PayPal easy spree $ be careful... recently I bought rather expensive magnet shelves from US buy thru PayPal then I buy other things from eBay realised that US have not paid yet because take few days and I got trouble...of negative. Then I got struggled. I goto the bank fill the fund there...PayPal is fantastic make my life easy.

For Steam, I want some few...I look for over 60%

Well, I've only bought Hollow Knight at this point. All the other games either have too little discount or have DLC coming up, so I'd rather wait for a Game of the Year version. But I did forget about that PayPal offer so I might have to go and buy something else after all

Sadly for me the steam arrived at a really bad time, with very little money to spend on anything.
I got 10 or maybe 30 at the most if I delay my electric bill; which I'd rather not do

Grabbed Darkest Dungeon + Black Mesa so far.

Darkest Dungeon seems good fun and just the kind of masochist game I like Cleared the first two quests and was like, all right I got this, went into the third and everything went into shit, everyone in my party got overstressed, my warrior started hacking at allies and my plague doctor died, had to abandon the quest. Now everyone's ridden with diseases and bad statuses. Which can be pretty funny, my priest is faithless and spends all her time at the brothel...

I just got Dead Rising 4
Figured 50% off a MS title was going to be about all itr ever reaches.
And, I 'thought' I would run through for an hour, hour and a half, and I would see if I liked it enough to keep it.
Well, 3 hours later.....
Hehe
I like it.

I bought ABZÛ and This War of Mine: The Little Ones DLC. I'm considering buying Ori and the Blind Forest.

Do it! While I can't competently persuade you since I haven't played it myself. But I've heard nothing but excellent things about the game. It is the complete package... excellent gameplay, visuals, storytelling, and music.

Anyway... I bought the Unreal pack, but it was mostly for Unreal 2. I've never been a UT fan and already played Unreal 1.

If you like Ori you may also like Hollow Knight. Picked it up a while ago and it's a really artfully stunning game. (just need to get around to playing it sometime )

I blew my whole steam wallet of $43, except for $2 and change, on:

Dead Rising 4 (totally worth it, for me, but I get why people hate on it after playing 3) $29.99
Dead Island Riptide Difinative Edition (so me and my buddies coming up next week can play lan party) $6.79
Gauntlet $4.99 (in case anyone here besides Louva would like to play, so we can have 4 person, or at least 3)

Total $41.77

Well, if you read post #10 you'd have seen I already bought Hollow Knight first. And NoMercy Rider convinced me to buy Ori as well.

So I bought:
· The Fruit of Grisaia
· The Leisure of Grisaia
· Balrum
· Cursed Sight
· Sweetest Monster
· a bunch of a-few-¢-a-pop games because eh

Also, a friend of mine gifted me Stay! Stay! Democratic People's Republic of Korea!, lol

So far I played through Sweetest Monster and all I can say is HOLY FUCKING SHIT

The final tally:

Hollow Knight + soundtrack, ABZÛ, This War of Mine: The Little Ones DLC, Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition and lastly Hitman: Blood Money, since I don't want the hassle of having to do an actual game install with a physical disc and possibly patching and shit. I'm not a pleb.

I only bought the Unreal collection so that I could finally play Unreal 2 (played and finished over the weekend).

However, Microsoft was holding their Xbox summer sale during the same timeframe. So I did pick up a few titles through that, since I am a dirty console peasant. I grabbed Ori and the Blind Forest (playing currently), Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands, and The Witness. All of which I am very excited to play, and all purchased cheaper than the Steam sale I might add

God damnit, I only wanted to grab the Unreal Deal so I could play UT2004 again with all my addons (60GB UT2004, CD drive doesn't work anymore and I can't install it)

My end tally wasn't a whole lot due to a serious lack of money this summer:

Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Plague Inc Evolved
A Dumb in the Dark (Don't ask)
Adventure Pass DLC for Minecraft Storymode
TouchLight II

Shame you missed Unreal Deal but often come on random sales. I think -80%

UT2004 is very nice game.
