There is no example in the world more perfect than that, good call Fiendian. I love SoR2 but 3 had terrible BGM. XD So obviously there are some bad eggs...

As pointless as this is for the iPad (Just like the iPad itself.), streaming an OS is actually a really cool idea in my opinion.

I need to replay that game one of these days (although I just finished it two months ago, so it's not like I'm waiting forever to do it ).

Lol. As if supporting higher resolutions or vsync was a feature. Or mouse-usable menus. Only semi-remarkable thing is the FoV slider, more games should have that at least.

A menu that can be interacted with using the keyboard is far more accessible for the visually impaired. But simply having both possibilities is better of course, like with the SS3 menu system.

Well, if you ask me, all those things should be standard in any PC release. However most of the things on that list were missing in BL and several of them are still missing, so having them in BL2 is definitely a step forward.

I've heard that they'll use steamworks for the PC version, which would also be a step up from the solution they used in BL.

My preference is no 3rd party client being tied to a game, but out of all the evils SteamWorks is the best out there I would say.

Same, but with BL your choice was a clumsy gamespy(?) implementation combined with either SecuROM or Steam (for some of the DLC, SecuROM was also needed on the Steam version :S), based on whether you wanted a retail copy or a digital copy. I personally opted for the Steam version due to personal preference, and didn't get any of the DLC that required SecuROM. But having to keep an additional friends list on another service, that was implemented clumsily, to be able to play with friends was honestly not a good solution.

So as i said, if they really do go all steamworks for BL2, i view that as a step forward in regard to both DRM and MP.

I actually think it's great news. It means they're listening to their PC gamers. They're one of the few developers out there who are now expressing care for their PC customers - no reason to make fun of them for it.

Now if only other developers will follow suit.

This shouldn't be news at all, all things they listed there should be a standard stuff found in the options menu. Like in not-so-old "old days".

Of course they should be standard, but they're not anymore. That's why this piece of "news" is good news.

Edit: Basically, I agree with you that it's sad this is considered new today. But I also think it's warranted since so many PC games omit those settings. Even iD omitted them in Rage.
