I don't want this extended version to be scrapped just yet. If anything, all I want from it is just the merger between FE, SE, and the Legend of the Beast; all in one mission storyline and of course any of the extra levels made that are suited as filler between two main levels.

LOL maybe Sam finds a way to repair the spaceship with the help from the Croteam characters with the large heads; only to find out they never discovered that Mental planted a few SEMTEXes in the engine room.

You arrive to Palenque by portal, just like what you did in Persia originally.

The spaceship itself crashes into the Euphrates, which is one of the "main" rivers of Mesopotamia. If you think about it, Mesopotamia has everything as Egypt. Pyramids called Ziggurats, deserts (unlike what is shown in SS) and a great river. It even makes sense from the intro: "Egypt? Egypt? Oh, not Egypt again!".

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Croteam originally wanted Persia to be the first episode, just from all the timeline inconsistencies and things like this.

To answer your confusion T-ReXx, SEMTEXes are molding bombs like C4. I'd say if Mental planted them in the engine, then kaboom! Down goes the spaceship!

Solais, since you plan to make Sam arrive to the Palenque by portal, you're going to get rid of that exploding spaceship in the very beginning right?

Yes, it would be good if you start at persia and go to Palenque after that. Don't understand it wrong, the action is the most important thing about SS but i like the way you want to improve the story Solais, it would make more sense if you start at Persia.

Yeah I'm suprised they never released a patch for that. There might be a few bugged spawns in BFE too.

Originally there weren't any bugged spawns in SS3, those were eliminated during testing. As for patching SSHD, they just don't have time for that anymore, due to working on SS3 PS3 and SS4.
