Hey everyone! So yeah, long time I've not been posting something for the classics here...
Anyway, since yesterday I've started to rebuild my persia level aka "Persian Courtyard" that is its old name, which will be named "The Dome" for the final name.
However, I keep the world skeleton but I re build it because the old one was messy and laggy, and I also re build it for a better looking (though I don't rebuild it to over detail!), it's also an opportunity to improve the gameplay the most as possible.

Though I am completely re building the begging because I removed the previous level (rebuilding another one over the old because that old one was crappy and laggy too ), and so I remake the begging to the end of the previous level will fit with the beggining of this one.

SS classic always had dynamic shadows. They are not the best, but hey.

dynamic shadows are for SS1 but it's a very complex procedure to get them working and it makes the level slow down in the editor

It's easy to activate you can active the simple lights (the one I use) and the multi lights in the advanced options, they are both pretty buggy, they aren't like real dynamics shadows such as SSHD though. It is like an added element to the player, they are fully dark (or a little transparent, depends of light settings, but we can see polygons when they stack themselves).

As I yesterday got a few ideas for my Teotihucan part of my campaign, I've built the beggining of the level which will be a great canyon within some platforms that will lead the a hidden village behind those mountains.

You can also admire the wonderful waterfalls from the great South-American Landscapes

The good thing with Serious Editor's is that they are all kinda linked each other. No, the terrain hasn't been made with SeriousEditor Mathematics Toolkit, heh, I've painted it with the cool painting tool from Serious Editor 3, then I've exported the terrain as a raw file, and I've imported then into Serious Editor 1. Then I've textured it and made my own shadowmap texture, because as you know, the dynmic shadows on a terrain makes the level lagging and also look ugly and triangluarized, I've finally found a way to make these with only Paint.net and Toll screen capture (that's not hard thought I didn't really searched how to do it, but as I really wanted to make one, if you want, you can). and that looks really cool to me. And no, I don't wanna be arrogant but I enjoy what I make.
