Between the Serious Engine and the Tribes 2 Engine, which one can support larger maps?  I know I will probably get a bunch of junkies who favor one over the other, but I really just want to know for the sake of MOD development.

I think T2 can support larger environments BUT at the cost of no trees or any doodads to liven up the level

Sam can do worlds miles long in any enviroment - water, space, indoors, or for the more sane a typical outdoors, with rolling or flat terrain, without any shrouding or 'fog' effects required.

T2 has support for very large areas, the specifics of which I don't really know. Terrain does tile and repeat itself indefinitely, and there is distance fogging(I know this much because I played the demo..)

My current estimate is that Sam has the stronger(and more scalable) engine but T2 has the multiplayer. That might change.
