You see that yellow poly in the middle? It doesn't supposu to be there. Do following:
in the layer palete:
For "speacial" layer add texture door1.tex
For "Doors" layer apply "Doors1_512.tex"

It shoud be it.

Man, so much complications hehe.

Ok, I have decided that this doors are finished. I add sound and the textureing is done. It will be released with a SuperPack that will be realsed in far future. (it will include more models, textures and similar).

Here's a map with this door if you would like to try it:

Here's how it looks:

Can you remove the centre part? So it won't affect the appearance when it is being opened?

Just give the center part a new weightmap and bone, and then in the anim first make it go to the left (where it is now), and then move into the upper left door part. Easy as that.

The center part is part of the upper left wing, and at this stage it would be hard to remove it. It's just a design.

This a model of Knight. I'm made it for a friend who's makeing a game. It has 1436 polys (triangles) and 512x512 texture. I'm also animateing it ATM.

Also, I won't be too much around at Seriously for some time, since I don't have time to work on Sed 2.0, but I'll be try to return here and there.

I think the feet are too small, and the head is too big. Is it just me or he really doesn't have a neck? Hands look organic and metal at the same time, like he's from Terminator 2.
And the sword should be a bit brighter IMO.

I bet that you are not looking at the Sword in the heat of battle SLAwww , so why waste more work on that?

Is that model for a FPS, RPG or RTS game?

Just learing Zbrush. I did this after tutorial (yeah, it's pretty bad, but for a beginning, I'm happy with it):

Well, Zbrush is a hybrid between 3D and 2D app. You can model with it (although it has completly defrent way to do it), but you can also paint with it. It's for for a extrmly high poly models; you can divide mesh to have milions of polys, and then use some brushs to paint details (bumbs) on it.
There must be a demo somewhere, try using google.

Yeah, it's a little hard to understand, since it's not like any other app. i did this armour with Z-sphere's, which is verry cool way to model something (and uniqe). Kristo, check your mail, there's something I would like to tell you.

well, I'm trying wytas, it's not really going to be exactly like the real one (Amiens, France), but it's verry good for practicing modelling (and crashing maya too, hehe).
Tnx for reply. Kristo, I'm gonna work on that in a day or two, sorry
