Unlike SS2, SS3 doesn't have the dynamic feelers anymore, and creating a functional navigrid is kinda hard, and a dynamic one would require some Ryason level if not higher level coding.

It all depends on the story how your map will be, it sure can be anything, but it should atleast fit to what you got, unless you start the tennis, then it is up to you what story you want to do and people to follow.

Pretty much what Devo said. There are'nt much 'special' requirements, you just need to be able to make a basic level, and be able to make up a story. The story is the real requirement.

because depth of field makes non-anti liaised pixels look better.

Until we get eye tracking tech depth of field should have no place in games (except in the cut scenes of course). Like, when you are hiding behind a tree, the stuff behind gets blurred. That is the exact opposite of what should happen, you usually don't focus on the tree, but on the stuff behind it that you are hiding from. Or if something is far away it doesn't mean that I am not currently looking at it. It just makes my eyes hurt.

well there are some cases where it's beautiful, such as the worst mod for Watchdogs, the DoF makes the backgrounds look photo realistic!

A map for Age of Mythology that plays like UT2 (2003-2004) assault, it wan't finished as playing by myself I lost interest.
The reason I'm sharing this here is because AOMH is pretty dead, and not very active.

Basically Players 1-4 can control only a small but powerful squad of units (and the 4 players are the 4 different Cultures respectively), and players 5-6 defend, they can create a normal amount of units but are not as strong, both players are Norse.

As the attackers progress the map they get access to Sky Passages to quickly move in further as all units are produced at the beginning area of the level, the defenders can move around too in the same fashion, but will lose ground when the attackers advance. (The attackers have Insta-Kill indestructible towers that convert over from neutral to them when they advance to make to attacker-conquered areas off limits to defenders; the attacker spawn area is off limits by default)

In addition to this, the defenders also have alot of indestructible gates they can use to get around faster, since they are not very many sky passages for them to use.

The CTF map looks interesting, but you can see unlit polygons caused by point lighting in both screenshots. Add some ambient lights to prevent pitch-black areas.

That's a lot of fancy architecture for Rev. Nice work. Also, who doesn't like a really well done RTS map? I don't have the game but it sounds cool enough.

I knew before it come out it was gonna be mediocre, there's not a chance these "Impostors" can make anything close to what ES could make!

This is still a WIP, and that file WILL be removed when the mod is updated, that shouldn't be for a while though.

It add the following Trouble in Terrorist Town! Items:

-Sniffer
-Counter Sniffer

Following Items are edits, mostly re-balanced with/without added features

-Final Hour Append/Mirror Fate Append
-Turret Rebalanced

I'll let you discover what they do on your own until I update the thread; the reason I'm sharing these here is because my GMOD friends seem to have poop PC's and don't want anymore addons, and don't think much of the fact that they got a GMOD codder with them now; I want a second opinion.

I dunno, they did a good job with AoE2 HD, even if it still got some bugs. Sure, the first new expansion wasn't that great, but I heard the second is pretty much on-par with the originals.
