![]() Rotating mp versus events. But because SS2 only has 4 maps for DM we need to expand on that. So we're putting together a community bonus content pack that will include the 10 best custom DM maps ever made. And here is where you get to vote on them.
We will be hosting these maps the next two weeks on Friday to see how they play and choose our top 10. |

I fixed it for you. The Seriously! File System literally has 12 DM maps for Serious Sam 2, and only seven if you disregard Mental4's mediocre maps that score lower than a 5.

To my knowledge DwK was working on getting more mods working with the Steam version of the game at one point. I sent him a compiled final version of DM Pro that was supposed to work too, but sadly haven't heard of it since. Wouldn't mind playing it again if it did work, it does bring a good amount of extra maps.

![]() So, based on my experiences with the DM test, I say that our major problems were:
1. Lag 2. Sliding 3. Horrid maps To make this less of a pain in the ass, I've come up with the 3 criteria of selecting maps for our future SS2 DM events: 1. Maps must be small enough that the players will meet each other almost immediately after spawn, or in other words, NO GIANT MAPS 2. Maps must not be obstructive to the players movement (overly big stairs, badly placed shit on the ground such as jump pads, sliding ice, platforming, etc) 3. Maps should have the minimal amount of environmental damage (in other words, no lava, freezing, or high falls) Of course there's a lot of other stuff like weapon placement, spawn placement, powerup placement, inclusion of vehicles, pretty levels, but those would be asking too much. Stick to the 3 criteria. |

![]() Football is perfect even with lag. Snow Base could have had the freezing and ice floor removed. The one jumping map in a cube with the shitty texture should have the jump pads on the floor to be less obstructive, respawning vehicles and turrets, and less shitty textures (AKA doll up the map). The map with the shitty platforms all over the floor should have most of the platforms reduced, spice up the otherwise generic box arena (walls and covers), respawning vehicles and turrets. and also giant gates installed in both the bottom hangar so that you can't just spam cannons and rockets to the other side.
Unfortunately, the rest are simply unsalvageable. |

![]() Hi, I test the mappack and I see than you add my map Giant Refrigerator. But I prefer you replace this map by a other map because Giant Refrigerator is too difficult to play. Change and choose these maps which are better.
