![]() You know which slide I'm talking about:
![]() ![]() And I know that you know you can go under it. ![]() However when playing this part on Xbox version of the game I noticed some particle effect is coming out of right wall. When you get close to it, it turns out to be serious backpack. You can pick it up even on PC but you can only see it when using cheats (I didn't check the original TSE since I assume that REV have the direct port of the map): ![]() ![]() If you look closely you can also see that there is heart and armor outside the wall. The "roof" and the ceiling have light spots. First 4 spots are empty. ![]() Then you got:
It is the same in HD. It is outside and you still can pick it up by hugging the wall: ![]() However it has some strange lighting on the left wall: ![]() The first pillar have it too tho so I'm not sure how valid is this clue: ![]() Also something I have noticed the armor unlike the other pickups have the spawn sound and particle effect (both in HD and REV): ![]() Is this some Sacred Yards Geek Secret level of bs? Or those are the remains of unused secret that Croteam forget to delete or just didn't have time to delete? BUT THE SAME THINGS HAPPENS IN HD AND XBOX VERSION! It is just because Croteam somehow have ported the layout of the map (xbox is obvious port with some tweaks but HD)? Or it is some kind of super obscure Easter egg? I'm 100% sure someone already asked this question. Is this something we already got answer to? And I'm too dumb to find it and I have just wasted time by writing this post? ![]() When you enter the slide items start to spawn.
These out of the map ones are used as templates for copier entities. They were placed too close to the actual playing area probably due to some mistake. |

![]() SSHD also had the levels converted from SS1 using a converter (that's in Revolution), so if there are any mistakes in classic, HD got them as well.

![]() It's a design oversight. There's a Serious Pack, super health and red armor outside the level at the slope that are used as copier templates, and the Serious Pack is just placed too close to the geometry. If you were to ghost outside the level, pick these items up, then go down the slope no items will spawn since you picked the templates up. The empty spots are because the designer probably didn't have OCD in the slightest.
