that level below venice (futuristic) level is really really good I also like the venice level too but futuristic is best

@Galvatron yeah but if they have coding for rest enemies, please about too. With animation - i don't think they have bcoz animation it is sequences of difference position model (frames). We want make mod without alternative ammos but if they have, can send. The best could be send everything what they have, but the main maps, models and their codes, textures.

Hmm, so he became Lead Designer after doing the stuff I dabble in... Oh, carry on, just musing to myself.

Actually, I wonder how the legal stuff is for Next Encounter, because currently that's a thing with the HD remake, that we really don't want any copyrighted stuff in the remake, trying to be most careful about it.

Oh, can you ask why they decided to cut levels from the campaign to make them into Lost Levels? Since the "lost levels" fit perfectly into the main campaign, including stuff like recurring jokes that didn't make sense in the normal campaign, due to some of them being in the lost levels.

Awe-some investigation, Galvatron! It's really a pleasure to see that they started the development on SE1 and this level-designer probably still has those asssets. Keep us informative, please. All this gaming archeology is a pretty interesting stuff, eh

Hmm, interesting that the Lost Levels were considered to be not polished enough, when I think they pretty much the same quality as the final ones (with maybe one exception, the start of the first Lost Level, Preatorian Camp looks kinda bad).

It would be interesting if the SSNEHD team would consider making a Wild West episode, that would be certainly new! (They could use a mixture of desert/sand canyon textures and medieval textures for the snowy mountainous areas of the Wild West. Including the wild west-like desert and cactus textures in SS2.)

Btw, I'm not the main mapper, I just work for the team as a sort of Design Advisor, not a full time member. I have too many things in my life to work as a full time mapper for them.

I think it'll be difficult/impossible to open those resources in the current version of SEditor 1 which fans have at the moment, since they (developers) probably had its improved commercial version back there.

If they haven't orginal models, I use Emilio's.
We have 2 ideas:
1) Remake NE
2) Make new mod which contains FE (+ enemies from Advance),SE and NE. Maybe even Serious Sam II but will be harder.

What are the consequences for the development of the NE Remake?

A short comparison: Certainly one can have a look at a gallery with pictures of Picasso, but not can them(her,it) his(its) pictures replicate meant or he(it) or his(its) spirit will do the complete work.

If they want to write on the contrary a biography about the makers of NE it already looks different.

If he has given them you Textures, Models or Tools, your already one step ahead.

PS: I agree with Devo about impressive stuff.

I think they weren't forgotten, but ignored, because they don't make much sense. Games are not like Picasso's art, as they are not single pieces, but mass-produced products.
