![]() Alright, I've just made a gamespy fix for FE, but is it just me missing something or are there no public FE servers at all? I can't see a single one, neither with an older LD fix nor with my one. I can't determine whether this is my mistake. The fix is not on Steam until I can check it.

![]() It seems that one of my FE copies just refused to work online for some reason. Dropped my fixed EXE to another folder and it displays server list just fine. An update is ready. Now there's a net_strMasterServer parameter in FE as well as SE. Nothing got changed except for SeriousSam.exe, so you may run all mods for 1.05. Savestates should not be affected this time.

![]() Wide screen resolutions are now supported by an official Steam version of Serious Sam Classic (both FE and SE). I switched the public beta to the main branch, hopefully there are no more errors.

![]() You know, I wonder. I read that the Entities.dll can't be changed because that breaks mods and demos. But can't there be like an EntitiesEX.dll that could potentially add extra stuff to the game without breaking mods and demos?

![]() I have a problem with the new patch, I had to reinstall SS TSE and I can't find the resolution which was applied before the patch, even on SS FE (didn't have to reinstall it) when I turn on the game and see resolutions they are on default (640 x 480) but in game it shows differently, It shows the highest resolution that was possible before update. Is there a way to play with my desired resolution? 1280 x 1024

![]() Levels\mental.wld is the culprit. You've probably saved it in SS:R and then copied to a SS Classic folder. You can open most SS:R levels with SeriousEditor.exe, but any SS:R level can crash SeriousSam.exe on startup. You should remove the file Levels\mental.wld from the "Levels" directory.
SS:R levels import feature was only meant for mappers who wish to switch back to the Classic SS1. The game itself will never load SS:R levels directly. Quote:
That has nothing to do with Steam updates. There are some mods that allow that, take XBOX mod for example.

The big pixelated HUD icon looks ugly on my beautiful 1366x768 screen, maybe you should scale them/make them smaller so that it looks more clear and natural and doesn't take up the great view of the game. ![]() SLAwww has the code-base to maintain the engine for newer hardware and OS'es, not to add new features willy-nilly as it breaks backwards compatibility with the non-Steam versions.
Also, you can use hud_fScaling to scale the hud completely. I use 0.5 as it's still easily readable and frees plenty of screen real-estate. Though SLAwww, the armor element slightly overlaps vertically with the health element (I'm using 1920x1080 16:9), maybe you could look into that? ![]()

![]() HUD fix is not there yet because each mod can have its own implementation of HUD. I'm trying to find a way to fix HUD-related problems in all mods simultaneously. Widescreen fix should work in all mods; you can check it.

What is your monitor's highest resolution? Did you select the proper aspect ratio associated with your monitor's highest resolution? Does it work if you edit it manually in PersistentSymbols.ini?
