I love Q2DM1, but I don't think it'd be more popular than Q3DM17 because sadly it did nothing revolutionary. The old maps are always popular, so of course it's best to remake them. But as always, there will be new ones as well. And no, they won't be set in underground ruins with a flashlight.

As for the assets, can't really say much, but since almost every level in SS4 will look unique, it needs a lot of assets developed.

Will SS4 offer jump 'n' run elements, traps, etc? I mean unique traps and jump 'n run elements, well integrated within several levels, not just put together like in Jewel of the Nile's second level.

I've been seeing a few Sam players playing a "none" game lately, I'm gonna place my bet right now it's SS4's Beta.

He isn't, the name of the game is empty in Steam but can be seen in Discord. It's not very informative though. If that's a breach, it's Croteam/Steam/Discord fault.

Actually, CT's NDA/Guidelines have been updated quite recently with this:

"If you use Discord, disable "Display currently running game as a status message" option. While Steam will not show a name for a game that' not released yet, Discord will."

So if someone didn't read the Guidelines, as they were told to do, and failed to switch off this feature, they are breaching the NDA. Consider this a warning.

A better time than ever to not be using discord.

Because honestly, I don't like a surprise being spoiled.

No I'm being serious, after the refresh I didn't even bother reinstalling Discord, since non of my 'real' friends use it.
And the whole event thing is pretty much not happening anymore.

I didn't see anything, I didn't breach anyone's NDA I swear!

Now it seems that people are busy (in fact me too until 21st), but in Discord we sometimes play "unofficially" (I mean that aren't planned events, just "hey want to play?") CAH, Insurgency, some SS mod, etc.

You didn't sign a binding NDA, but yes, Solais is gonna be very cross with you, and when you are in his crosshair he'll use your head as a croquet ball and maybe shoot you with his crossbow. Then he will work you with his crowbar until you croak and use your skin to crochet a crocodile.
