Never played Painkiller or Bulletstorm but that trailer looks great. If it plays like Doom 4 or the new Wolfenstein, it's gonna be great. That atmosphere is amazing, hope my PC will be able to run it.

I cant even launch Doom anymore.

Never even finished it, more than half through it.
Black screen forever, then 'not responding' after 30 seconds.

Same with me but with Doom (2016) - almost finished it. Stopped playing for a while due to the intensity of studies and all and it happens sometimes to some of the games like Doom, Wolfenstein New Order, etc. Probably due to graphic/memory card issues I think.

Nope.
I got the answer to how to make it work from a guy named Ransom on the steam forums.
It seems that if you didnt play it for a while, there was a mistake in the update where it didnt delete old files, and when you launch it, it tries to launch the old files (which SHOULD have been deleted, but werent), instead of the new ones.
I did his fix, verified files through steam, it found 4 and downloaded them, and then I was able to play perfectly fine after that.

Also, I dont know if it helped, but I had JUST installed Wolfenstein 2, and maybe the new Bethesda Launcher helped a bit? Maybe try updating the Launcher from the Bethesda site beofre doing the file integrity check.

I tried Quake Champions and bought it a while ago. I could play the training match, other than that, I couldn't play the rest of the game because it wouldn't find a match in my region (probably because of the firewall) I had to disable it just to play Quake Champions and get it to at least connect, even unblocking it, it was still causing issues. But I still am not able to join a match so I wasn't really able to play much of it.

Quake Champions is out now?
I beta tested it, but not very much, because it was SO dang boring, I couldnt take it anymore (that was only after an hour of gameplay).

I liked Champions during the beta. I might buy it again on Steam later but I haven't felt the urge to yet.

Excellent game.
THE only game to get me away from quake 3, my #3 game of all time.
It is VERY good, if you like quick melee twitch type games.
SP with bots, or coop with 4 people, your friends or anyone online.

Actually, it should be cheaper than that, another 20% off with the code: PAYDAY
It might or might not work, I already have the game, so I cant tell if it gives the extra 20% or not.

Wow I'm shocked to hear about Quake Champions. I saw at store it say early access game really ??? That put me off

I did get to try out Quake Champions, but I only played the training level. After that, I was unable to play it again!! Like you 'have' to connect with other servers to play and there is no offlline or bot play for all I know.. It was searching for servers in my region but none / nothing... Even after disabling firewall. So I did end up playing it like once.
