Default Big Green Egg (space age grill)

Ever heard of these?

It's basically a big green egg (see the name) that works as a grill. First, you start a fire in the egg and wait about five minutes. Then, you toss your steaks or whatever in, wait until the side it's cooking on is seared, flip it, and close the lid. Here's the cool part: the egg is composed of space shuttle insulation material that never wears down and retains heat like an oven. Once the lid is closed and the egg is at the right temperature (the handy dandy thermometer will tell you when), you close the vents, the fire inside gets extinguished, but all of the heat, moisture, and whatnot inside is retained. This means that unlike on a normal grill (metal), the juice stays in the steak and it cooks evenly without having to flip it more than once, and since it's a fire/charcoal rig you get the perfect grill taste.

Cost the family 600 bucks, and it was worth every penny. God damn, those were the best t-bone's I've ever had in my life. Compared to the regular old grill we were using this thing is 100x better, I swear on my life.

That's a nice grill setup. Price is a tad steep though.
