Default Teaser in magazine

I don't know if you've seen this already, but here is a pic of an advertisement (I guess you'd call it an advertisement) that was in the May issue of Computer Games magazine (page 97). I subscribe to 4 other "PC gaming" mags, and this is the only one I've seen this pic in:

Oh, and hi! How ya doin'?......I still play sam, been playing SSFE fragmatch quite often, and SSSE fragmatch once in a while.

I'm looking forward to the article when it comes out.

Hmm, that looks promising, but will the magazine include a full preview, and will it come out before or after E3?

Scorpion - Not to say too much, but...when do most magazines that are labeled "May" come out?

I'm interested in one thing. How much time does it usually take trailers from E3 to get released on the internet?

Not long. Assuming my predictions that SS2 will be at E3 were right...depending on how distracted I get between the SS2 booth and the media center, I'll probably upload them first thing. In other words, if SS2 is there, I'll go, record video, take pictures, head straight to the media center, upload them, and post it in the news. Of course, that's assuming I stop playing the game long enough to do this, and also assuming that I don't get distracted by 8 billion other things

I just got my copy of PC Gamer today, and the description for the contents of next month read "One of the biggest franchises in PC gaming makes its triumphant return, and we'll have all the details." Unfortunately, they don't give the franchise name. I'm probably wrong, so I won't say it might be SS2, but I can hope can't I?

I had that in mind, but SS2 fits the description too. I already said I'm probably wrong.

It doesn't even come close to fitting the description. I have no idea how you saw "biggest gaming franchise" and got "Serious Sam" out of it...

I saw that too, and thought they MIGHT, have been talking about Activision, but after checking them out.....I decided they were talking about someone else.....

Sheesh! Rod just wont let my post die with dignity. Okay, Serious Sam is far from one of the biggest franchises ever made. I thought that just MAYBE with a preview coming in a competeing magazine and with E3 just around the corner PC Gamer MIGHT just announce something about SS2 as well. But high ping has done his research, and has proven me wrong. But couldn't there have been a CHANCE it was SS2, given the information I had to work with?

I really don't see why you're getting so worked up over this. Frankly, there was no chance at all that it was SS2, because Serious Sam doesn't even really qualify as a franchise, and certainly not one of the biggest gaming franchises in history. I simply pointed that out, I really don't see how or why you're still trying to defend your original statement, it really doesn't matter.

PC Gamer already released a huge preview for Quake IV a few months back. But who knows, maybe they have more information. However, Quake IV seems to fit the description far better than SS2.

I've made an enhanced version of the ad for people who had trouble seeing it.
