Default Water reflection/refraction

Question: How?

I know it's made with a Mirror entity, and I know that it must be set to somehow mirror the whole map, but I was unable to make it work. I also learned how to make Visibility Sectors at last, because I thought it needs that, but it still doesn't work.

Reflection has nothing to do with visibility sectors.Although they help.

-Add a Ripple shader to the water model.
-Add the mirror entity and align it to fit your water body.
-Go to the mirror's properties and find the "Reflection Texture"
select it so that it's in dark blue, and press "Ctrl+C" to copy it.
-Water body model -> In the shader modefiers add a constant shader modifier , and in Destination type "Reflection Texture" , and add a "ShaderArgValTexture" as a Value .
-Expand it , select it the Pointer property and paste the texture "Ctrl+V" and it should work.

How simple was that ?

Shut up. It's only simple when you know what you're doing. Oh phooey.

I was actually joking that it was not in fact simple. Many seemingly simple things in SED are like that.

And that "oh phooey" was indication that I was joking too, or just wasn't serious.
