Do you think games are too easy now?

I wouldn’t go as far as saying that games today are too easy, since that’s a pretty broad statement. There are definitely games that seem to fear letting the player fail or coddle the player too much in favor of making sure they make it from one cut-scene to the next to provide continuity for the story. Our philosophy is to provide a challenge and enable the players to create their own strategies and tactics in the heat of battle.

The most memorable moments in every game I play are the moments when I get stuck. You replay that part hundred times until you succeed (like that Kleer/Werebull corridor in TFE, or my first playtrough of Silent Hill 2).

Many games I played were pretty easy (even on hard), I finish them in few hours and I don't remember most of the game later.

Then play Ninja Gaiden.

I played Ninja Gaiden on Sega Game Gear. Basically the first video game I ever played (but I doubt you meant that one).

How about Dark Souls? It's pretty much the most popular dick measuring contest of today's video games.

As I understand it, Dark Souls is reliant on other people at many instances.

Brute - not really true. Friend is playing it now and hasn't gotten help from people.

I just finished Demon Souls (which friend said is harder than Dark Souls, since once you are used to Demon Souls, you know what to expect) although, other than world 4 in a pure black (halloween event), i didn't have any trouble with it

most worlds I never died or died just once

and you want hard: probably the hardest game ever:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQZuidKexBQ

there is a better video where a guy beats this boss without dying and from what I read, you need to, to unlock and see the true final boss. In that other video there is this other boss after this (player dies at that boss). To die, you have to get shot right in the central blue crystal thing on your ship; not just the outline of the ship (hence it appears he should die a few times, but doesn't)

update: i think the link is here: http://lifepoint1.com/community/view...hp?f=43&t=3173

(if you aren't aware, the game is part of the sub genre of shoot em ups, called "Manic Shooters/Bullet Hell Shooters"

Oh hey, Mushi.
But I heard it's not really that hard compared to some of the Black Label versions of some other Cave shooters. (Mushi futari (aka the sequel to what you just linked) has a Black Label as well.)

Like Zatsuza here, who is a harder version of one of the most hardest bosses of all time, Hibachi.

Unless when I use this nice blue color I totally didn't steal from Blizzard.
