Default Trying to create models from Blender to Serious Modeler/Editor

Hello everybody! Today I started to learn Blender in order to make my own models.
As a test I tried to make a little model of a collumn which looks like this :

But I'm actually encountering several problems, such as the model having polygons into itself, I don't understand why and don't know if it is usual or not, you can check it here :

But that is not so important, the second problem is the UV mapping, I exported the UV layout with Blender, which looks fitting well with the model :

But after making the .mdl with Serious Modeler and importing it in Serious Editor, the UV mapping is completely messed up after lots of tries with the .tex file

So if anyone can help, i'd like to ! Thanks

I am just wondering, how many surfaces are on your model? You may need to split up the materials for most of the blocks into separate materials (don't think it has to be in the same group) but for some reason Modeller wants to "connect" the vertexes of the polygon UV texture. So if they are any gaps you should spit them up into separate materials. Try that and see what happens. Had this problem before.. I use Milkshape 3D and same problem happens. Like for example get the top 4 polygons of the column and put that in one group, then to the next for the rest.. But anyway good luck with that hopefully it should work ok!

The model has 66 vertices and 106 triangels which is pretty low but still looking good enough.
Anyway, I think I understood what you said, it's similar to the way I did when I textured Uncertain Prayer HD. If I got your point, you mean make a group of polygons that have the same angle, for example the top polygons into one group, the left side polygons into one group and so on, right?
Also, Milkshape 3D is definitely not the best modeling software. Have you ever tried using Lightwave 3D?

It's not the fault of the software you are using as long it supports lwo or obj.
Simply use the software that fits to you.

Shouldn't you be using SKA Studio?

No, not really. I have tried it's much harder than MS3D. Blender I have not tried before though. Yes and that's pretty much what I mean. It would most likely stop the texture from going all funny and leaking in and all..

Not for making models

No, for importing them into the game.

Serious Modeler automatically makes the .mdl and then I import them into Serious Editor. Serious SKA hasn't anything to do with it
