Actually, I'd like to send some criticism towards palms. First of all, there's something wrong with how they look like - too... bright sometimes? There are weird shadows on the leaves and in some cases a very noticable contrast between leaves and tree trunk. The second thing is their size and amount. I mean, like, palm tree that is higher than a giagantic wall and even some pylons? Palms growing on top of the buildings? I think that's not a very good idea, man and I guess you went a little too far in your desire to put more details and greenery. Other than that, this looks pretty cute. Keep it up.

Yea, I agree with you fully. I just tried to create some scenery for effect and the shadings for models with flat models, like palm leaves, don't really work well in the game. I really need some criticism once in a while to make this mod as good as possible

News:
- DMI is porting the maps into SE which means the mod will be developed in good old SEditor for SE.
- Because of the change of direction there will be coding involved so i need someone to help or atleast teach me how to mod with the SDK.
- Long term pause because of health problems and treatment trip (search "vasculitis" if you're interested but not recommended)

First of all thanks to DMI for teaching me some basics of the Editor and for taking the initiative to port and also to Dr. Trig for the many things we have done until now

I know this is long overdue, but I've begun ripping the music (although I noticed the lack of some instruments). It was surprisingly simple.

Yea it is really straightforward. Fun fact is if u extract the raw instruments they sound different and better because the gba audio chipset has some limits.

It would be awesome if you could remake all the soundtrack from Advance in a full quality SS1 style. May be ask Val or someone else about that.
