Default AP_3381 is now live!

First of all, Happy Holidays from all of us at Alligator Pit! From today until the 31st, everyone will have Santa hats on their player characters. Have fun!
  • Now using the new SteamUGC API for Steam Workshop. This should speed up the Workshop process a lot. The downloading of workshop items is now handled by Steam instead of the game, which means you don't need to wait for the game to download all of your subscribed items, and you're no longer required to restart the game. (NOTE: In our testing, when starting this version for the first time, you will have to restart the game at least once for your existing subscribed workshop items to "convert" to Steam's new format. This is only required once!)
  • Added a scrapped map from The First Encounter: Classic Hole!
  • Added new Classic First Encounter and Classic Warped HUD themes, including an additional uncolored classic theme.
  • Fixed minor HUD issue with Serious Bomb icon.
  • Fixed a couple minor issues with Ughzy enemy customization.
  • Fixed a couple minor issues with Headman enemy customization.
  • Fixed Ghostbuster not being affected by Serious Damage powerup.
  • Fixed Twisters in The Pit launching you way too high.
  • Fixed error 3 when saving statistics. (For real this time. Promise.)
  • Fixed some issues in Sankta Nokto.
  • Fixed some issues in Sand Canyon.
  • Fixed missing survival medals in Faster Faster.

I've noticed a small miss within the classic FE HUD. When your health, armor or ammo drop to the minimum ammount, the numbers aren't blinking in "green-red-green-red" as it was in FE. I think it should be fixed.

The numbers don't actually blink. In TFE the heart icon blinks gree/grey when your is 10 or below, and the ammo icon (not weapon) of the equipped weapon blinks grey/green when it's around 10%. The color of the numbers change from green to red on HP and ammo, but the armor uses different colors and doesn't blink.

Okay, I've found SS FE 1.00 and played it.

1. About the HUD:

In classic FE, when your health drops to 24 or low - the green heart icon starts to blink in white/green, and the numbers are turning red.

When you perform a shot - if there is ammo involved - the icons are shaking, both - selected weapon's and in the ammo mini icon in the right bottom corner.

If a weapon's ammo drops at 10% or low - in current weapon numbers are turning red, and mini icon's bar is turning from green to red.

Every time when you pick up a health, ammo or armor - it's icon shakes.

If you take a hit - armor and health are responding with shake.

In revolution - everything is static. Shake effect is disabled, and no red color or blink effect for low amounts of health/ammo.

Also - mini icons are still shuffling, do not stay in straight order as in classics. Some of them appear at the top of the others, some of them are missing when ammo is depleted... Fix it.

2. Shadows
When multiple lights shadow is activated in FE, you can see shadows of the player model from first person view. As I remember since SE, unfortunately, this feature is missing. BtW - I've noticed same thing in both FE/SE HD.

3. Palms destruction
In Serpent Yards level there is a full destruction model for the palms. I see you inserted it in FE, replacing the old palm trees, but it looks like you just replaced the old file with the new one, keeping the name same. Yet it still uses the old destruction animation and it looks... not so good. Also some palm trees (and other models as the grass spot, on which they grow) need do edit their model options via the editor, in order to achieve good looking palms in terms of light. Like that some of them are looking too bright or too dark. This is how I solved the problem back in the day with the Full Encounter.

All of those 3 points are non-gameplay breaking things, but are easy to spot by the fans, and I guess - not so hard to solve.

i can't share content on steam Revolution.
when i "Sumit" click, closed the Steam Rev. Workshop window and the serious editor,
and than i wait and wait and wait and Nothing comes ? is that normal...

What kind of keyboard input method do you use? The Steam overlay tends to crash games when using IME input (eg. Japanese)

(Also, an mdmp contains a lot more info than an rpt file, so if you have that please do upload that.)
