I don't know if such a library exists, and yeah the editor can't open xml and such files, the text editor is not for such.

What I do while scripting is that when I use a variable with an entity parented to it, writing : or . after the variable, the editor will pop up a window showing all the commands I can use with the entity. So if I write "worldInfo" (which is an entity that is automatically parented to its variable) and then write ":" then it will list all the commands it can do.

Unless when I use this nice blue color I totally didn't steal from Blizzard.

Do you by any chance know why my pop up list doesn't appear after I put in the ':' after my entity? (editor 3.5)

I just tested it with the 'worldInfo' entity and no list of auto suggested commands comes up.

-Tried a bunch of different entity's and scenarios but it's as if mine is disabled. (Tried Ctrl+Space as it says that activates this auto-complete function)

-Tried reinstalling the ss3+the editor & removing all the folders from the steam folder and any other traces of the serious editor I could find when I did a search on my hard drive..

-Tested the ss editor on another machine in my house (they have a fresh untouched install of ss3 on their machine) and opened the editor and it worked on theirs.

-Tried searching online also as to why but to no avail

My screenshot would be exactly like the one above, although without the window with the list of auto suggestive commands...

Any help would be great, I'm hoping it's something blindingly obvious i'm doing/missed!

Thanks.

EDIT: Solved on the Random Questions thread
