Default Local co-op? System link/LAN co-op?

Okay, I can sort of understand only releasing the first half of
the first game (aka "The First Encounter"), and
not the entire first game, but why aren't you going to
add local co-op (2-4 people on one console, split screen)
or 'system link'/LAN co-op (multiple consoles in one house)?
Perhaps you plan on it, but haven't announced it, yet.
If you have no intent on adding either or both co-op
types, could you state so, and include a short reason
why?

I was excited when I first heard about the game, but
my feelings towards it turned sour, sour like the
taste of the fluid coughed up when you eat too much.

I can understand no local co-op, because it may be too
much for the console to handle. I don't know if that is
the case here. I do know that the Serious Sam 1,
on the X-Box, could handle at least 2 people on one
console.

Only offering Live! co-op could be a deal breaker.

Jeez calm down, it was only announced yesterday, do you really think that if they did have most of it done that they'd spill the beans on everything all at once?

I don't think they're finished yet.

Stop ending sentences
in the middle of
one like I am doing
right now. It's really
annoying when you do
so, it makes it harder
to read.

Also, have they even said anything about Local co-op? I don't think they'll take the option away, since they had it in the original xbox Serious Sam. Either way, you have the campaign if XBL gold is too much for you.

It's easier to read when the text doesn't go to the
end of the page. The style used to mock mine
is too close together.

I am pretty sure that it will have some networking capabilities. The more important question is whether or not players with the PC version can network with the players with the XBox bersion.

Please be patient, we are trying to get some answers, and if everything goes OK, we might have surprise in a week or two. Might being the keyword here.

Anyway, SE HD will be released some time after FE HD. And then SS 3.

It would be the interview. We had sent one a few months... more like a year back, but at that time Gamecock got sold to Southpeak so it kind of disappeared. We'll talk to CT and DD and see if we can make a new one, with a lot more questions, now that we have all this information.
It's also possible there will be other things along the line, depending on CT, DD, but most of all your interest. The more you guys are willing to help, the more we can do.

What about Serious Sam 2? Will there be a Serious Sam HD, for
part 2? If so, perhaps local co-op, and lan/system link co-op,
could be added to that, if possible?

You do know that t his game is only 15euros and for that money you really can't expect to have game with all the features of 50€ hits, right?

SS:FE was bargain price, too wasn't it?

What expectations were there for SS:FE then? None, it was unannounced, a big surprise. Besides, the development cycle for SS:FE was much longer than SSHD because it was a garage developer project.

Wait...

HD won't have splitscreen?
Not enough 360' games do I'm afraid. I mean Halo 3 did but that was a pile of crap and then some.

UT3 and Gears do as well, if I recall, along with Burnout...

burnout doesnt (at least, paradise doesnt)

however, loads of other coop games do, e.g. Left 4 Dead, Halo series, Gears of War series, Ghost Recon series (4 player split even)...

theyd better have splitscreen in this one :R

Well I specifically meant 4 player split screen. 2 is a cop-out.

If they could at least do 2-player co-op, on one console, I'd be satisfied.
